As our Commissioners, Charley Martin and Jim Cawley are delivering real results for Bucks County residents. By bringing strong fiscal discipline to county government, Charley Martin and Jim Cawley held the line on property taxes this year. Their leadership has earned Bucks County an upgraded bong rating - which means a savings for taxpayers. Charley Martin and Jim Cawley have championed Bucks County's important Open Space & Farmland Preservation Program and, by the end of this year, a full 10,000 acres will be protected from development. They have supported "Open Space Task Force II", bringing together citizens from across our county to offer recommendations for future preservation efforts. The Martin-Cawley team is making Bucks County safer. They have improved the county Emergency Services department and worked closely with the regional Terrorism Task Force to better respond to natural or manmade disasters. They are also woking with local police and expanding the 911 system to ensure cell phone users get help when they need it.
