A Brief DVD Illustration for a Biblical Described Creation of Our Universe
The General Grand Unification Model (GGU-model) is a mathematical cosmogony. That is, via mathematical reasoning and interpreted mathematical operators, it produces many distinct physical universes in many distinct ways. Each of these operators has a signature that signifies that intelligent agency is responsible for the production of and alterations in the behavior of every physical-system. Such characteristics yield the General Intelligent Design Model (GID-model) interpretation. One form of universe creation parallels the strict creationary mode expressed in Genesis 1. This is a brief illustration of that form. The details can be found it my three other "belief" statements and elsewhere on this web site. The mathematical theory was developed first and the following is a translation of the results obtained for one collection of "event sequences." (Recall that an event sequence is what produces, in a step-by-step manner via a specific realization process, real physical entities.) A somewhat more detailed explanation requires the language of the GGU-model. An in-depth explanation is highly technical and complex and involves mathematical analysis using a rather new mathematical process called "Nonstandard Modeling," a portion of a model for modern set-theory. Also, the phrase "rather sudden" is used in some cases, where entities may not appear instantaneous, but rather they might occur over an unknown period of Earth-time during a specific creation-day.
(A) Consider a modern large flat-panel TV screen.In the beginning, there are no visible images in either location. Since in Genesis 1, the Sun is not formed until day-four, "ghost-like" images are used to indicate what occurs prior to day-four. What is described is from a fixed viewpoint external to the TV screen and the viewer uses an external "time" notion - primitive time. What follows is a theological interpretation for one GGU-model universe-generating scenario. [Some of the technical entities that lead to this illustration are noted between square brackets and can be ignored if not understood.] A DVD is loaded into a player and begins to produce images.(B) A 3-dimensional imaging process is used. The screen is divided into two unmarked regions; a spherically bounded region R located at the center position, and a larger 3-D region S containing R.
(0) [All results come from the activation of a designed ultralogic operator applied to a designed ultraword. A "sustaining" process that must be continually applied to designed combinations of subparticles maintains all physical processes.]For this creation scenario, the mathematical model states that there can be many other unrealized universes that correspond to the realized external-universe. Within these unrealized universes are various R-type regions that correspond in their entirety to the governing processes that yield the images in S. These unrealized R-type regions are termed "ancient earths with their local environment." Further, the event sequences can include all other Biblical alterations in universe behavior.The following is but one of various types of DVD-illustrated behavior that may satisfy Biblically statements. There are many other possibilities, the one presented here is the one I, at present, accept. If you are only interested in the rapid-formation model, go to section (4.5-5). In the beginning, there suddenly appears in R a concentration of water that is in suspended animation. This form of suspended animation is determined by first pushing the pause button. Then as you push the "next" button a few times you see that the image is not altered. Hence, although the water appears to be very chaotic in structure, no change in its behavior occurs for a few of the next "frames." No comprehensible physical processes are occurring. One of the meanings for the phrase "without form" is that "confusion" is being displayed.
(1) Day-one. (This is a change from my book.) As stated in the Concordant Literal translation, a prior sentence is included with the usual day-one statements. This statement reads, "Yet the Spirit of God is vibrating over the surface of the water." (Maybe day-one should also include the next previous statement as well.) Although the word "vibrate" can refer to the notion of "brooding," I interpret the notion that His Spirit "vibrates" as a "shadow" for the next step. This step yields the sudden realization of the entire electromagnetic field (EMF) with some basic properties. (Note: One should not assume that the physical behavior of the EMF as observed today is the same behavior used during creation week. The Bible specifically implies that physical behavior through the Flood was different from what is experienced today. This is, at least, implied in Genesis 3:16 - 19. Indeed, no comprehensible physical laws as observed today need to exist, as yet. These laws are for our benefit in order, at the least, to subdue the earth (Genesis 1:26, 28. Psalm 8:6). [Physical laws, physical properties and physical theories yield humanly comprehensible relations between adjacent universe-wide frozen-frames. Technically, these images are formed by a "command" and nothing else is required.]
The EMF is first used to alter the water and possibly the "formless" submerged Earth since, following the realization of the EMF, the water is no longer in suspended animation but is physically active and controlled. Then God selects a portion of the EMF and calls it "light." The absence of this portion He calls "night." Note that the literal translation is "And coming is (it to be) evening and coming (to be) morning, day one." There is no morning prior to day-one.
(2) Day-two. The water is divided into two parts. The firmament is an activated portion of GGU-model's "ultimate subparticle field" (the field) between the "waters above" and the "waters below." Such a firmament is predicted by the GGU-model and has properties that correspond to the Biblically described properties. This field is an interface between the first heaven and the second heaven. It can be conceived of as having two faces. One face forms the foundation for the physical world and the second face is connected to the "covirtural world" (i.e. the substratum or background universe). This appears to be a reason that God calls the firmament "heavens," where the plural is the correct translation. Moreover, a special name is applied to this field since there is another portion of this field that can be used as a background that produces the realized original Earth. The waters "above" this activated portion of the field form a rarefied layer of water and a few clouds that represents the boundary for the original Earth and the activated portion of the field. As discussed in my "Final" statement, I accept that there was no rain until the Flood. Thus, among other physical-property differences, gravity had different properties from what we experience today.
[For thousands of years, the water above has been interpreted as clouds. But, this boundary is not related to the "canopy model," which I don't accept. Further, other models use the "waters above" as a type of boundary for the entire universe. For such a cosmology, the activated field would encompass all of the created exterior universe and the Earth and is local environment.]
Depending upon the cosmology one selects, region S displays different behavior. All known cosmologies can be used, including multi-universe and eternal cosmologies. If an expansion cosmology is used, which appears to correspond to most of today's accepted cosmological evidence, then, when activated, this portion of the firmament displays a barely detectable radially flowing background. To correspond to other Biblical, but not Genesis 1, statements, this is a continuous flowing pattern from a specific location outwards toward the outer edge of S. Again depending upon the cosmology selected, this outward flow could "appear" to take place starting at a point at the Earth or it could be an actual outward flow from a point within the Earth's local environment. As shown in (2, p. 68), the basic "metric" that cosmologist use that includes such an expansion can be completely derived considering only two light propagation properties, length and angle measures and a substratum expansion speed. A few more properties for such an expansion are discussed in belief statement 2. If viewed from "inside" the soon to be produced universe, the universe is "on" the firmament. When viewed from the firmament, the universe is "in" the firmament.
(3) Day-three. The R region's waters "below" suddenly appear in distinct regions in R and the "dry" land suddenly appears in mature and functional form. Then the objects described in Genesis 1: 11-12 appear in mature and fully functional form. When the universe is created, it is noticed that the waters and Earth in R are slowly rotating relative to the radial firmament flow. The result of these R region formations is termed as the "original Earth."
(4-4.5) First part of day-four. During this creation-day, the Sun and Moon appear in R and the day-three entities continue to develop in R relative to "rotation-time."
(4.5-5) The Rapid-Formation Model states that during day-four an entire universe external to R is formed in S. Its formation can display any developing cosmology that corresponds to what we perceive today and that satisfies a selected S configuration. The outer edge of S need not be the boundary for a universe. To form a universe, the field external to R needs to be activated.
One aspect of the rapid-formation model is that it eliminates any unnecessary physical processes that are needed to "shield" region R from the hostile environment that exists during the development of a universe exterior to R. Then the process satisfies the Biblical requirement that an exterior universe be formed at a moment after the foundation of the Sun and Moon. Although it requires special analysis, eternal universes, multi-universes, and infinite space or matter universes can be formed by rapid-formation. At a moment after the Sun and Moon appear, the material in R is put into suspended animation. In this form of suspended animation, as the external-universe changes in its development, there is no change in the region R. Alterations of any R region physical-system, of any kind, ceases. Since this includes photons, then as the exterior-universe develops the region R again appears ghost-like. There is a rather simple GGU-model process that can accomplish this. [Within the event sequence, repeating region R during a primitive time interval is the process.] Various cosmologies satisfy these requirements. For my interpretation, the created universe satisfies the requirements for such an expanding universe.
Since this is a pre-designed universe, there is a location relative to all objects within the universe, where an ancient earth (defined below) and its local environment develop. As pointed out in the article on GGU-model processes, not all locations within a universe need to be realized at each moment in primitive time. This happens here. As the universe develops, the region R would acquire aspects of the developing universe. So as to not have two objects occupy the same space, those aspects of the developing universe that occur in the R region are simply not realized. They appear to continue to develop in non-realized form while nothing in R is altered.
When the developing external and hostile universe reaches a moment that corresponds to what we consider to be its condition 6,000 years ago, then the S region rapid-formation and the R region suspended animation modes cease. This includes R's ghost-like appearance. Then suddenly there appears in R images that correspond to the "shinning dim objects" termed as stars. I point out that the "lights" from the previously formed external objects are "allowed" to enter region R for the stated Biblical purposes. There may be many other destructive objects that could enter but they are not realized. (No "spatial morphing border" is necessary (1, p. 178.)) For my selection, after this moment, if during the next creation days and through the Flood the development of the universe's physical-systems external to R are compared with the development of the physical-systems in R, then various external-universe physical-processes are not replicated within region R. This is a GGU-model possibility since the physical events are sequentially describable.
(5) All the remaining creation-day entities appear in mature and fully functional form in R.
(6) After the Fall of man, as verified by Genesis 3:14-19, some physical laws that govern region R are altered.
(7) Things continue in this fashion until the Flood.
After day-four, the external universe and region R are members of a library of universes as discussed in (1 p. 156). This library models participator alterations. In this application of the GGU-model, this library also includes, if any, the participator alterations in the unrealized portion. Consistent with the physical laws we observe today, this library would also include all possible physical-system combinations of region R and the unrealized portion.
There are various Flood models that have been purposed. They are all GGU-model possibilities, and they do not contradict the previous creation-week illustration. The following is the model I, at present, accept. In Genesis 6:13, God states that He will not only destroy the life on the land but also ruin the land. One model states that during the Flood itself the original Earth and its local environment is replaced with the images from a different DVD in the library with the following feature. An after-the-Flood event sequence yields material evidence in region R that is a mingling of evidence from the original (young) Earth with its local environment and that of an ancient earth with its local environment. This evidence verifies that the earth prior to the Flood and the Flood itself existed.
After the Flood and except for "miraculous events," the current earth with its local environment continues to develop in concert with the development occurring in S. There is a vast amount of mingled evidence that indirectly verifies this model and its implications. For the GGU-model theological interpretation, all of the events discussed above are pre-designed "in the mind of God" so-to-speak. This DVD illustration satisfies Romans 1:20. It, at the least, indicates God's exceptional creationary power, His higher-intelligence and His knowledge of the past, present and future.
