Remembering Stebbins at Asilomar 2009

2009 celebrated many decades of wonderful Unitarian Universalist Summer Conferences
at Asilomar. This was the last planned Stebbins and we spent time honoring long
time attendees and remembering wonderful times together.
We also provided a great program for new people.

Stebbins at
Asilomar has been a Unitarian Universalist summer
gathering at Asilomar Conference Center on California's Monterey Peninsula,
where the cypress meet the sea. People chose from daily workshops that stimulate
the mind, nourish the spirit and move the body. They could dance, sing, discuss,
learn, contemplate and grow in an atmosphere of friendship and fun.
Asilomar grounds include a heated swimming pool, volleyball court, pool tables,
ping pong table, gift shop and boardwalks that wind through the dunes
of this dramatic oceanside conference ground. Golf courses, Monterey
Bay Aquarium and local shops are just minutes away. Asilomar features
comfortable accommodations that include daily maid service and
great food served semi-cafeteria style in the dining hall.
Stebbins at Asilomar was sponsored by the Northern California Unitarian Universalist
Camps and Conferences, Inc. of the Unitarian Universalist Association. It was open to all.
