2009 will celebrate many decades of wonderful Unitarian Universalist Summer Conferences
at Asilomar. This will be the last planned Stebbins
and we want to spend time to honor long
time attendees, remember wonderful times together and yet still provide another great program for new people.

Never been to Stebbins? This is your chance to enjoy all that’s been before. We are
planning special ways to include you in our reminiscences. Are you younger and think
it’s only older folks who go to Stebbins? For the most part you’re right, but we’re a
lot of fun, very loving and welcoming and we have more young people join us each
year. So hopefully you can enjoy a workshop geared to your interests.
Stebbins at
Asilomar is a Unitarian Universalist summer
gathering at Asilomar Conference Center on California's
Monterey Peninsula,
where the cypress meet the sea. Choose from daily workshops that stimulate
the mind, nourish the spirit and move the body. Dance, sing, discuss,
learn, contemplate and grow in an atmosphere of friendship and fun.
Grounds include a heated swimming pool, volleyball court, pool tables,
ping pong table, gift shop and boardwalks that wind through the dunes
of this dramatic oceanside conference ground. Golf courses, Monterey
Bay Aquarium and local shops are just minutes away. Asilomar features
comfortable accommodations that include daily maid service and
