Join the Society for Music Perception and Cognition

Membership in the Society is open to all who are interested. Society fees are $40 for a two year period, and you may pay for as many years (in multiples of two) as you like. A $1 service charge (per two-year period) is added to assist in covering the administrative costs related to this convenience.

It is easy to use a PayPal account to submit your SMPC dues using a credit card or bank account. Just click on the "Add to Cart" button below. In the "Quantity" field of the shopping cart that appears, simply enter the number of two-year periods for which you wish to provide payment.

If you prefer, you may pay your dues the "old fashioned way." Click to download SMPC Membership Renewal Form. Provide the requested information and mail the completed form along with a check for $40 per two-year period, and mail it to:

The check must be made out payable to "SMPC" or "Society for Music Perception and Cognition." Members who wish to remit dues through a wire transfer to the SMPC bank account or using currency other than US dollars should contact the Treasurer for further instructions
