I was interested in joining groups that encouraged and inspired
young music
students.
What role has SAI played in your life? How have you
benefited from
being a member of SAI?
I was a "late bloomer." I joined SAI when I was in
graduate school.
The main benefits of being a member of SAI are the inspiration
and the many new
music contacts and friends.
What does SAI have to offer to women musicians today?
Everything! Opportunities to perform, to keep abreast of new
musicians in the
area, a fine music news magazine, and opportunities to
adjudicate.
