Styx Page

Styx was a major force in the rock music of the late 70's and early 80's. Through my troubled years of junior high and high school, Styx's music was there, putting my emotions into words so perfectly at times I would swear they were writing just for me. For a band that can touch a person that way, and touch many many others as well, AND those same songs be chart hits, speaks very highly of their musical quality.
My favorite songs (at the moment...they have so much, the list changes with my mood!) (in no particular order, with album name)

"Haven't We Been Here Before?" - Kilroy was Here
"Fooling Yourself (The Angry Young Man)" - Grand Illusion
"Lords of the Ring" - Pieces of Eight
"Why Me" - Cornerstone
"She Cares" - Paradise Theater
"Show Me The Way" - Edge of the Century
"Crystal Ball" - Crystal Ball

Favorite Album - Kilroy was Here
- strangely enough, this was the first one of theirs I bought. My love of Styx didn't start there, but the realization they had more than just the songs on the radio started there.

Here are some links to some very nice Styx-related pages.
