It's finally here! Quite possibly the most anticipated new movie event of all time has begun. The first movie of the Star Wars prequel, subtitled " The Phantom Menace " has begun showing trailers in the theaters. I've seen the trailer (by what providence of luck or supreme being guiding me, I don't know, but watched TV at just the right moment to catch the commercial telling me it was going to be on the local FOX affiliate), and was blown away.

Check out the official site here. They have the trailer available in several formats, but the site is so choked (surprise) that I've never gotten through. Instead, I hit this site and found a ton of info. I used the suggested Go!Zilla to download the official .MOV version of the trailer, and discovered the sound really was hurting, so I am working on getting the " fixed " version now. If I thought I could get away with it, I'd put up copies myself, but I fear for the bandwidth cost (21MB zipped!).
