The webmaster reseller account is essentially a normal base 3 account with
one difference: the ability to point domain names to a subdirectory of your
main directory. Adding additional services like extra mailing lists,
autoresponders, POP boxes, bandwidth, are all charged at our normal rate to
you. As the webmaster reseller, you have complete control over your clients
account. Your clients should not be able to administer their accounts
because to do so would be to give them access to all of your clients'
account information as well as your own.
If you want your clients to be able to administer their sites, we recommend our Standard Reseller program. E-mail billing@serve.com for more details on that. To set up a site for your client, you create a subdirectory within your account and your client has the choice of having his URL be: 1. http://www.clientsdomain.com/ - $5/month 2. http://client.resellersdomain.com/ - $20 one time fee 3. http://www.resellersdomain.com/client - No charge PAYMENT FOR YOUR ACCOUNT Webmaster reseller accounts are required to pay for their account by credit card. Your card is charged as a normal Datarealm account for your account and all the services and add-ons and extra bandwidth generated you have. You can choose to pay monthly, quarterly, semiannually, or annually and will receive the prepayment discount for semiannual or annual payment. As the webmaster reseller, you pay us for your account and you charge your clients whatever fees you wish. RULES AND RESTRICTIONS Datarealm reserves the right to suspend access to and/or cancel any account within your webmaster reseller account for violation of our usage policy. If such an event occurs, you, the reseller, will be notified immediately by e-mail. Normal operating procedure would be: on the first violation, an e-mail is sent to the reseller warning of the violation and which subdirectory/domain name it was. It would be the reseller's responsibility to inform his/her client of the usage violation. A second violation would result in automatic suspension of access with another notice going to the reseller. Repeated violations would result in the automatic removal of that subdirectory and any corresponding services linked to that subdirectory. SOLICITATION As a reseller of Datarealm, you agree not to solicit current Datarealm customers to switch over to your reseller account. Conversely, Datarealm agrees not to solicity current customers of the reseller to switch over to Datarealm.
