College Career: In the fall of '86, Keith began playing Ultimate with the University of Pennsylvania Void, joining a host of other rookies during a rebuilding period.
Ivies '89
This group grew together as players succeeding three years later in bringing Penn back to the Collegiate National Championships. The team played well in those '89 nationals, losing to a University of Texas team (featuring almost exclusively club players) in the game to go to the semi-finals. After his undergraduate years, Keith moved to the open division. In '91 he, returned to Penn to attend Graduate school (some say for a degree, some say to play Disc - you choose!). The '91 Void was a veteran squad, ready to make a run at the National Championship, best evidenced by their 17-7 trashing of then undefeated, top-ranked Carleton during Nationals play. But, as in '89, the Void lost their last pool play game, this time to a talented UC Santa Barbara team, and missed their shot at the semis.

Club Career: After graduating from Penn in '89, Keith jumped into the open division with both feet, joining the newly-crowned World Club Champions, PhileMore. He enjoyed a number of years of success with PhilMore, making trips to the '89 and '91 National Championships, the '91 World Club Championships in Toronto, along with numerous other tournament, earning their share of tournament titles. After PhilMore's dissolution Keith began playing with Philadelphia Ultimate in the spring of '93, but in the fall of '93, he tore his right ACL, putting him out of competitive ultimate for over a year. When his Recovery was complete, Keith joined the Philadelphia RAGE in the spring of 1995. Once again he has been blessed to be part of a hardworking, top-level team, highlighted by their trip to Street, England for the 1995 World Club Championships and their recent qualification for the 1996 UPA National Championships.

Favorite Ultimate Moment: Eleven months after reconstructive knee surgery Keith returned to the field sporting a large knee brace. He was forced to play in this contraption for nine months. Finally during a RAGE practice in the fall of '95, he felt ready to abandon the brace. During his first two points without it, Keith got a block and threw a goal. It brought a tear of joy to his eye, the feeling of coming full circle.

While not playing Ultimate: Keith has a busy career in pharmaceutical research, currently working on a novel drug-treatment for breast cancer. He enjoys nearly all athletics, but especially blading, running and hoops. Other favorite things: dancing, music, computers, and spending time with his close friends.
