There was a rocket attack on the security hut used by the RUC to guard the Law Courts in Belfast shortly after noon today, Monday. One RUC officer suffered a perforated eardrum in the blast and a woman leaving the court was blown off her feet. Details are as yet sketchy. A car was later found burnt out in the Markets area of Belfast. The IRA have now claimed that four bombs have been placed in hotels and a railway station. There is no independent confirmation of the claim which was broadcast on the 3pm BBC news.
