BOOTIES TO BOOTS VIDEO
Center for Christian Nonviolence

Longtime Pax Christi guru Father Emmanuel Charles McCarthy writes, "Here is a little source of reflection that I put some serious time into making. It is a professionally produced 30-second ecumenical, anti-war 'commercial.' Like any commercial it is meant to be seen many times but not necessarily repetitively. It is digitized so it can be used or transferred into any video medium. The hope is to get it seen and reflected upon and acted on as far and as wide as possible."

THE WAR IN IRAQ REMAINS A DEFEAT FOR HUMANITY
Resources on the Ongoing War and Occupation in Iraq
Pax Christi USA “How can we not think with profound regret of the drama unfolding in Iraq, which has given rise to tragic situations of uncertainty and insecurity for all?” - Pope John Paul II
From Pax Christi's Open Letter to the US Catholic Community: We believe that to honor the legacy of Pope John Paul II requires that we oppose this war and work tirelessly to bring the U.S. occupation to an end. This does not mean that the United States and all of us as its citizens do not owe an abiding commitment to rebuild Iraq. Rather, it means that our best efforts to assist the Iraqi people will come not through military occupation, but through determined humanitarian and political support as they chart their new course through history.
