EDUCATION Links Index Top of Page	U.S. Power Squadrons ~ - a non-profit organization with a focus on safe boating through education. The local chapter is known as OAKLAND SAIL AND POWER SQUADRON. They sponsor a community Boat Safety Class at various High Schooll Adult Programs. After completing this class and joining the Squadron one can continue taking various classes all the way up to Celestial Navigation.
