Delta Yacht Club

This is a second week long Delta experience but definitely tied to a dock with shore power. It will precede or follow the Delta Cruising Experience. DBYC is on an isolated island and is a very nice facility. Traditionally one of OYC’s larger cruises in terms of attendance, it is a lot of fun. If you have a dinghy, there is lots of exploring fun to be had. Otherwise, you can sit around and wait for the Delta mailperson to come (by boat of course). http://www.deltayachtclub.org/

This is a week long anchor out (with strategically placed marinas for those who need shore power every night) that gives the real Delta Gunk Holing experience. Led by experienced Delta Cruisers, it’s a real experience if you haven’t done it before. The anchor out cruise will have the agenda meeting (at Decker Island/horseshoe bend) .

One of the premier cruise destinations on the Bay. A short shot from OYC passing Treasure Island, Angel Island, Raccoon Strait and Corinthian YC. A great facility just a short walk from downtown Tiburon. Fantastic dinners. In the advent of foul weather, distance from the guest dock to the club house is very short. http://www.sfyc.org/

Benicia Marina called to inform me that we would not have berths in the Marina on Saturday night due to the Music Festival. Alternative arrangements have been made for Sausalito YC. They will be cruising out and we will be using slips vacated by their cruise out. The number of boats will be limited. Stay tuned for details.
