Meet Mustafa, staff member

Mustafa Abdul Rashid is one of the staff members at Neighborhood Bike Works. He got started here because he was looking for a job and his teacher told him about NBW. He started coming here and liked it. He has been working here since November.

Mustafa is from Philadelphia. His parents are from Philadelphia also. Before he started working here, he used to take bikes apart and put them back together himself, and when he got here, he learned how to do it the right way. Mustafa's job is to be Mr. Dyson's ` assistant. Mr. Dyson is the bike repair teacher. Mustafa helps with the bike repair classes, gets things organized for the rides, keeps the shop in order, and sometimes teaches classes.

Mustafa likes fixing bikes. His birthday is September 10, 1983. He turned 18 this month.
