Topic: Friendly Challenge
Comments: As President of the Ontario District I ask this question:
"Where are all the singers who should be registering for the Lansing International Sing?"
According to the numbers passed along to me the Ontario District has an 85% total of members registered for the Sing. A friendly challenge from up north...does any other district have a percentage close or better?
Let's support the effort of our Lansing colleagues.
Gord Jarvis
Pres. AMCO.

Topic: Tours
Comments: Does anyone know what is included in the price of the tours listed for the Big Sing 2003? Folks in my District are asking so they can make more plans and get reservations they need. The booklet is great for basic info, but does not list a source to go for these type questions. I don't like to think that poor Julie Pingston is going to be pestered by me for all these questions. Thanks - Ric

Topic: Mainely A Cappella
Comments: Can we interest you in adding a link to us, Mainely A Cappella, at http://www.a-cappella.com?

In case you are not familiar with Mainely A Cappella, we carry the largest selection of a cappella music in the world, with approximately 1,500 titles.

Though Mainely A Cappella is known mostly for its album distribution, we are involved in many other aspects of the a cappella world:

- Our college a cappella arm, Varsity Vocals, produces the annual college a cappella competition, The International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (www.varsityvocals.com), and the annual collections of scholastic a cappella "Best of College A Cappella (BOCA)" and "Best of High School A Cappella."

- Our record label, Hot Lips Records, has produced CDs for five o'clock shadow, m-pact, spiralmouth and The Nylons.

- Contemporary A Cappella Publishing, our sheet music affiliate, (in which CASA president Deke Sharon is a partner) has published the Sweet Honey in the Rock Songbook as well as the Contemporary A Cappella Songbook series (popularly known as "The CASA Songbooks").

So with all that we do in a cappella, we would like to think a link will help your web visitors in their quest to discover the wide world of a cappella.

If you could be so kind as to drop me an email when the link is up, we could reciprocate on our links page. And let me know if there is anything our company can do to assist you

I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,

Colin Brereton
