True Love is a short film about marriage proposals and marriage. The story moves back and forth between scenes that contrast two women - and how they view marriage proposals and marriage - with two men and how they view the same topics.

All four of the principal actors in this short do credible work, especially the two leads, Mike Walsh and Christine DeAnda. Darren T. Mangler, who we've seen before, seems to have a lot of potential comedic talent, waiting to be realized. Here he shows some potential as a dramatic actor as well. There is some good dialogue and the music is generally effective and well-suited to the film, which is letterboxed.

True Love is an interesting and entertaining short, with solid writing and solid acting. Watching this film is a good way to spend the ten minutes it takes to do so.
