The term NRI means non resident Indian and even if only one parent is of Indian heritage, that qualifies you as an NRI family and we invite you to join this list. We are here to support one another and to exchange information. There will be archives available to subscribers so you can review past digests.

Indians Adopting Indian Children is a mailing list for person's of Indian heritage (All South Asians are welcome!)who are planning to or have already adopted Indian babies or children.

India-ICHILD is a mailing list specifically for adoptive parents living in India. We welcome any adoptive parents in India, including prospective adoptive parents, to join us in our discussions. We also welcome others living in India, who may have an interest in adoption.

SAIA-T This group offers a forum for adult adoptees from South Asia, ie. India, Pakistan, Bangaledesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal, to talk to each other, to network, and to discuss freely their feelings and experiences in being adopted internationally.
This group offers a space to share your experiences, strengths, and hopes. We hope that the list will be neither all positive, nor all negative, but a true journal of the journeys.
We are glad you found us. Currently we define 'adult' as 18 years old and up.
The list owner is not a member of the Indian adoption triad and will be looking for an adult Indian adoptee to help in moderating the administrative aspects of the list. 

ICHILD-YOGAHINDU
This list is for adoptive parents of Indian born children who are interested in discussing the various aspects of the Philosophy of Yoga and Hinduism. This is a forum for respectful and informational conversation questions, answers, and personal and intergenerational family sharings. We intend this list to help those of us who are interested in exploring and finding out more about this particular aspect of our children's Indian spiritual heritage.

PUNE CLUB FOR AUSTRALIANS
This group was created for Australian families who are/have adopted from India. It was started for families adopting from Preet Mandir Orphanage in Pune, but any Australians adopting children from overseas are welcome to the group. Membership is restricted to only those adopting from Australia . If you are an Australian resident and do not have '.au' ending in your email address, please notify us (waiting@tpg.com.au) of your details so that we can add you to the list.
