SENTENCE THAT DESCRIBES A BASIC COLLECTION
OF "PHYSICAL" OBJECTS AND PUSH ENTER.

SUDDENLY YOU SEE ON THE MONITOR SCREEN

THE WHITE DOT EXPANDS AND
GASEOUS FORMATIONS APPEAR.

THEN THE STARS APPEAR.

THEN OTHER STAR FORMATIONS APPEAR.

FOLLOWED BY THE APPEARANCE OF OTHER MATERIAL OBJECTS.

FINALLY, MANY OF THESE APPEAR.

And one of these

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU TYPED IN A
DIFFERENT SENTENCE?

AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT UNIVERSE
WOULD BE CREATED. IN FACT
MILLIONS OF DIFFERENT IMAGINATIVE
UNIVERSES CAN BE CREATED.

THE PROGRAM USES PHYSICAL LAWS
OR PHYSICAL THEORIES
AND COMBINES THEM
SO AS TO LED TO

ONCE THE PROGRAM IS OBTAINED THEN
AN EXTREMELY POWERFUL MICROPROCESSOR

MUST BE USED TO ACTUALLY ACHIEVE THE RESULTS
THAT APPEAR ON THE MONITOR.

BUT, IN GENERAL, A UNIVERSE MIGHT BE FORMED
BY DIFFERENT PHYSICAL LAWS AND THE END RESULT

AND HE COULD WRITE A COMPUTER PROGRAM
THAT WOULD LEAD TO

SO, WHAT IS THE PART OF (C) THAT WOULD REMAIN
IF THE ACTUAL LAWS OR THEORIES RESULTS ARE REMOVED?

THE "CONSECUTIVE STEPS AND USING A SPECIFIC LOGICAL PROCEDURE" REMAINS.

WHAT REMAINS IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO "HOW" PHYSICAL
LAWS OR THEORIES AND COMBINATIONS YIELD THE END
RESULTS AFTER YOU TYPE IN THE LONG SENTENCE.

BUT,
DIFFERENT LOGICAL PROCEDURES AND DIFFERENT
COLLECTIONS OF CONSECUTIVE STEPS
MIGHT ALSO BE REQUIRED.

AND AN IMAGE APPEARS, LIKE

HOWEVER,

USES ONLY THE COMMON ASPECTS (L) ASSOCIATED
WITH THE LOGICAL PROCEDURES AND CONSECUTIVE STEPS
ALONG WITH ANY COLLECTION OF COMPATIBLE
PHYSICAL-LIKE LAWS OR THEORIES (B) AND
APPLIES THESE TO THE SENTENCE (S) AND IT
PRODUCES AN IMAGE (M) ON A MONITOR-LIKE SCREEN.

ONE CAN SIMPLY STATE THAT WHEN COMMON LOGICAL
PROCEDURES ALONG WITH CONSECUTIVE STEPS AND
PHYSICAL-LIKE LAWS OR THEORIES ARE APPLIED
TO AN OBJECT (S), THEN THIS YIELDS THE IMAGE (M).

IN DIAGRAM FORM THIS IS SIMPLY REPRESENTED AS

THERE ARE MATHEMATICAL OBJECTS THAT MIMIC
ALL SUCH INTERNAL COMPUTER BEHAVIOR.

SINCE ALL SUCH BEHAVIOR IS ASSOCIATED WITH THE (L),
THE RESULTS ASSOCIATED WITH THOUGHT PROCESSES
TERMED AS "CONSEQUENCES" ARE USED TO NAME THESE
OBJECTS. THEY ARE THE FINITE CONSEQUENCE OPERATORS.

AS WITH MANY RATHER SIMPLE SCIENTIFIC NOTIONS
THEIR APPLICATIONS TO SPECIFIC SCENARIOS CAN
PRODUCE HIGHLY COMPLEX SCIENTIFIC THEORIES.
THIS FACT DOES NOT CHANGE THE ACTUAL
FUNDAMENTAL CONCEPT EMPLOYED.
