These materials were designed for the Laubach Way to English course, and closely parallel it.
The homeworks were designed for ESL students who have at least some facility with reading and writing in a Western alphabetic language. If your student is an absolute beginner with respect to reading/writing, you'll have to postpone using them for quite a while.
These are all Microsoft Word files (.doc), except the crossword grids, which are Excel spreadsheets (.xls).
