Michelle Amato

Michelle, who is best known for her jazz performances throughout Florida, has a broad stylistic range. This has allowed her to sing with a diverse array of artists including Quincy Jones, Jon Secada, Liza Minelli, Jon Hendricks, Al Green and Sandy Patti.  She has been a featured soloist with the Memphis Symphony and the South Florida Pops.  Michelle also stays extremely active in the recording studio singing for various cruise lines, Warner Brothers and Shawnee Press Publishers, Walt Disney World, and numerous jingle production companies. She holds a Master’s degree from the prestigious University of Miami School of Music, and is also in great demand as an educator and clinician. She has coached vocalists for Cirque du Soleil and taught private students and directed jazz vocal ensembles at The University of Miami, Miami Dade Community College , Memphis State University , and Rollins College .

The Ethnicity tour was Michelle's first with Yanni, and she is featured on the Ethnicity CD as well.  She has released her debut CD, "I'm All Smiles", which is available on her website.
