JOYCE WARK, 80, of Katy, Texas, a world traveler and people lover died Wednesday morning, January 12, 2005, at a Katy Hospital. Mrs. Wark was born in Le Compte, Louisiana on July 7, 1924 to Wade Scallan and Lucille Sommers Scallan. She graduated from San Jacinto High School. Mrs. Wark is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, O. D. Wark; two daughters, Denise Ray, and Holly Hart and her husband Jim; one son, Stephen Wark and his wife Lollie; four grandchildren, Glenn Hart, Marschelle Carris, and Leah and Sarah Wark; and four great grandchildren. Private graveside services for the family only were held at 10:00 A. M. Friday, January 14, 2005, at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to, the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Houston Chapter, 6161 Savoy Drive, Suite 240, Houston, Texas 77036.
