SHARON SUE WILSON HARRELL, 60, of Shiro, formerly of
Houston, died Wednesday, October 11, at Houston Town &
Country Hospital. She was born in Navasota Nov. 24, 1945, the
daughter Hamill and Hortense Davis Wilson. A graduate of Jones
High School and the University of Houston-Clear Lake, she was a
retired executive assistant with Southwestern Bell Telephone Co.
A resident of Shiro for over 10 years where she was a member of
Shiro United Methodist Church, she was a former long time
resident of Houston. Survivors include her husband James Richard
Harrell of Shiro; her mother Hortense Davis Wilson of Houston; a
daughter, Sherry Grumbles and husband Curtis of Houston; a
brother, John Hamill Wilson and wife Barbara of Thornton, CO;
two grandchildren, Zoe and Zachariah Grumbles of Houston; 2
nieces and 2 nephews, 3 great nieces and 4 great nephews;
mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alice and Jim Harrell of
Cleveland, TX and a brother-in-law, Gary Harrell of Sacramento,
CA. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Shiro
United Methodist Church, Shiro, TX, with Rev. Gary Westbrook
officiating. Interment will follow in the Red Top Cemetery in
Shiro. For those that desire, the family has requested memorials
