Maxine Rogers Pyle

MAXINE ROGERS PYLE, age eighty-six, died on Friday, September 19, 2008 in Houston, Texas. She was born June 6, 1922 in Douglas, Texas to Joseph Benjamin Rogers and OD Hamby Rogers. Her parents, twelve brothers and sisters, and two infants predeceased her. She is survived by her husband, Wayne E. Pyle, to whom she had been married seventy years. Other survivors include four children, daughters Annette Watson and husband. Ted of Austin, Texas, Donnie Sue Taylor of Houston, Texas, sons Larry Pyle and wife, Nita of Houston, Texas, and Ronnie Pyle and wife, Ann of Pearland, Texas and eight grandchildren, Larry Taylor, Jerry Taylor, Michael Wagisbach. Rhonda Degan, Joey Pyle, Sonda Frament, Gerald Pyle and Benjamin Pyle and five great grandchildren. The family is grateful to Dr. Stuart Solomon and the special home care given by Kathy Brown and Edith Lee. Visitation will be Monday, September 22 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Allen and Sons Funeral Home in Alto. Texas.
