MARCUS H. SCHOOLEY (the Schooner), 64, of Houston, TX, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda "Angel" Schooley, of 41 years; mother, Eleanor Shanks; aunt, Jerry Munsch; dear friend, Betty Bergeron; son, Marc Schooley and wife Dorann; daughter, Lauren Schooley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Norm and Lorraine Schnatterer; grandchildren, Orrin, Amber, Anthony, and their mother Willemina Bogaards, Matt and Stacy McLemore; sister and brother-in-law, Ralph and Betsy Manis; and nephew, Robert Manis. Marc was a member of Hope Church Clear Lake where he served as a deacon and elder. He was in the car business for over 30 years and was an owner of several small businesses. Marc was an avid collector of memorabilia, records and comics, and was a listmaker, system master, & King of the Cold Feet. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2007, from 5-7 P.M. at Forest Park East Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 3 P.M. at Hope Church, 770 Pineloch, Houston, TX 77062, (281) 488-0900.
