MARY LORRAINE HAYMAN, 38, born
October 11, 1966, passed peacefully with her parents at her side on Sunday
morning, June 12, 2005, following a long, courageous battle with cancer. Left
to cherish her memory are her parents, Larry and Saundra Hayman, sister,
Nicole, brother, Ryan, grandfather, LeRoy Crenshaw, uncle, Leonard Crenshaw
(Lisa), numerous other relatives and friends she loved dearly. She was
"Aunt Lori" to her sister's children, Robert, Heather, and Brittani
Fisher. The family wishes to thank the staff of the M.D. Anderson Head and Neck
Clinic for their dedicated care throughout Mary's long illness. A special
thanks is sent to Dr. Ann Gillenwater, Shelia Harris RN, Dr. Suresh Reddy, the
Symptom Control and Palliative Care Team for their wonderful care. Special
thanks are sent to RN's Cathy Tilley and Yolanda Hu, the staff of Acute
Palliative Care Unit (12th floor), and to the caring staff of Houston Hospice
that made her comfortable in her final hours. In lieu of flowers, the family
suggests donations made in Mary's memory to MDACC-Head and Neck Clinic, or to
Houston Hospice. A memorial service to celebrate Mary Lorraine's life is being
held on Saturday, June 18, 2005, at 12:30 p.m., in the Forest Park East Chapel.
Mary's ashes will be inurned in a private graveside service in the
Crenshaw-Hayman family plot at the cemetery at a later date.
