Rob, I am writing to tell you that my mother (Hilda Dean Dunlap) died
peacefully in her sleep Thursday night here in Santa Fe.  She was ill for a
couple of weeks and hospitalized for 6 days....congestive heart failure and
c.o.p.d. were diagnosed.  She remained on oxygen while in the hospital and
was miserable but not in any great pain.

We had thrown a big bash for her 90th birthday in January....friends and
family came from all over.  She was in good health for that and really
enjoyed it as did we.

My husband and I are coming in Saturday for a brief grave side memorial
service at South Park Memorial Cemetery in Pearland.  It will be at 4 PM,
Saturday April 3.  I will contact the Houston Chronicle for an obituary to
run on Friday, April 1.  I would love to see anybody who would care to
attend.
