HENRY BASCOM PIPKIN lost his long
and valiant battle with Parkinson's Disease on December 27, 2004. He was born
in Buckner, Arkansas, on July 1, 1921. He is survived by his wife of 62
years, Susette Knight Pipkin; son, Mike; daughters, Donna Howington and
husband Joe, Suzanne Harrison and husband Tim; grandchildren, Dana Ivie and
husband Jon; Ryan Harrison and wife Stephanie; and loving nieces and nephews.
Henry had a long and successful career in the commercial tire business. He
was an avid sports fan, hunter and fisherman. In later years, he enjoyed
landscape painting and always loved to tell a joke or two. The family will
receive friends Tuesday, December 28, 2004, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at
Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
December 29, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. at Glenbrook United Methodist Church, 8635
Glen Valley Dr., Houston, TX with Rev. Stacy Pever Anzick officiating.
Memorials may be made to Glenbrook United Methodist Church and/or Houston
Parkinson's Foundation.
