CHARLES
E. HAMILTON, 91, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2003. He
was married to his wife Nancy Cooksey in Houston in 1937 at First Baptist
Church. They were married for 50 years. She preceded him in death in 1987.
They were members of First Baptist Church downtown and moved to Park Place
Baptist Church in 1958. He was deacon at both churches and was elected Deacon
Emeritus at Park Place. Other survivors include, daughters, Joyce Stagg and
husband, George Balke , Laura Hooker and husband, Ron , all of Houston. Also
survived by Four Granddaughters and Five Great-Grandchldren. Family to
receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2003. Funeral services
noon, Saturday, January 11, 2003 in the Family Chapel of Forest Park Lawndale
Funeral Home. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
