JOHN ED TRAYLOR was born August 12, 1922, in Texarkana,
Texas, to Versie A. Traylor and Katherine Traylor. Ed received
his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of
Houston in 1949. He was President of Utility Supply Company for
many years. On May 28, 1970, Ed married Josephine Fielding in
Galveston, Texas. He was a member of the Walter Pierson Masonic
Lodge and supported the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Ed also
served in the US Army Air Corps and the US Army in WWII. Ed
passed away on Monday, January 29, 2007, at the age of 84 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jo; children, Margot Traylor Frye,
Sheri Piper Fix, Buddy Ray Piper, and Marsha Muegge; 6
grandchildren; and brother Ray Traylor. He was preceded in death
by both parents and brother, Bobby Traylor. A memorial service
will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, February 1, 2007, at St.
Peter's United Methodist Church, 20775 Kingsland Blvd., Katy,
Texas. Rev. Dan Miller, Rev. Kimberly Meyers, and Rev. Billy
Watson will officiate.

United Methodist Church, in Ed's honor.
