Rob, et al---

Julia (Messenger) and I talked with Judy Douty Pharo a couple of days ago. She and her house survived Hurricane Ike without damage. Ironically, the house she lives in was built just before the Galveston storm of 1900 and was unscathed back then. It did a repeat performance. Judy, in her jovial self, said, "I guess the Jesse Jones class of 62 won't be holding their 50 anniversary in Galveston." Que sera, sera.

We hope others in the Houston area weathered the storm. I know Rob that you had damage to your Houston home and you said that a big tree split your Lake Livingston home in half. We hope over time that things get back to normal.

To the Class of '62: Julia and I retired to Bella Vista, Arkansas (just north of Fayetteville) in July. Our new home address is 32 Cambria Drive, Bella Vista, AR 72715; however, our MAILING ADDRESS IS: P.O. Box 5189, Bella Vista, AR 72714. We are 550 miles northeast of Houston. Home phone is 479-855-0290. Northwest Arkansas is a beautiful area; hills, hardwood trees, rivers, lakes, golf, etc. Come see us; we will treat you a bunch of different ways; you are bound to like one of them.
