Registrations are coming in daily along with great bio information,
pictures, financial donations, items for door prizes, Silent Auction
items and more!
You are appreciated and we continue to encourage you to help us make
this a great success by forwarding these items.
We truly hope you will make every effort to attend. This email is going
to the entire email listing so if you have already registered we thank
you and are
looking forward to being with you! If you have not received what is
attached I must not have the correct 'street' address for you and
please let me know.
If you have not responded please let us know what might be keeping you
from attending the reunion - transportation, finances, housing needs,
health issues...all are important to us and we many be able to offer
assistance's in many areas. We really want to have great participation
and attendance. If you are thinking no
one remembers you - you are wrong! We have been reviewing our list of
those that have not responded and what fun that was - there was NO
one that someone didn't remember either from school, your neighborhood,
church, little league, rainbow girls, spinnerets, carpool etc.
The reunion is to 'reunite' but it is also all about who we are today -
spouses, widowers, single, grandparents, retirees, those 'wanna be' to
retirement, volunteers,
and other interesting things....people who have a great deal in common
today, maybe even more than we did in 63! What a great time to
network and
broaden your circle of friends!
If circumstances truly do not allow you to attend please be sure to
forward your Questionnaire and Bio sheet. We are so excited about the
information
and pictures that have been received. We really want to hear from you
and all about. Please do not hesitate to forward pictures if you have
returned
your forms and wish to do so know!
The Marriott still has discounted rooms available if you wish to stay a
night or two! You should call them shortly to make these reservations.
We will have a 'hospitality room' to 'hang out' for the
week end.
We have had responses and reservations from some teachers....yes...some
of them are going to be 'Remembering When' with us! We have friends
from both the class of 62 and 64 joining us, as well. Anyone that
attended Jones is welcome - help us spread the word!
I hope this finds you well, happy and safe from Gustav and those storms
and aftermath
that is to be following this week! Prayers for all in those
geographic areas. Enjoy what is left from this last holiday of the
summer.
