April 22, 2009

I was looking at the pictures of the 40th reunion and missed being there. It was not that I didn't want to be, but I was in classes from 2003 to 2008 studying to become a deacon within the Catholic Church. I missed out on a lot of things but felt that this was what was right for me at the time. And I was correct in my thinking.

I lost my baby brother on the 19th of December 2008, two days later I lost my son's father in law and on the 26th, my wife's uncle passed away. The close of my 2008 was something that I would not wish upon anyone. However, my 2009 began with hope knowing that being an ordained deacon, that I, with God's assistance can be of service to those I love and those I don't even know.

I thank God for those precious memories that I make with those of the Class of 1962. Each of you, in one way or another helped me find my place in God's creation. Thank you for being a part of my life.

Must close for now. May God bless each of you and your loved ones.
