In vain we seek to be rewarded.
All our life we seek the rewards of wealth,fame, etc
All our life we hope to receive, and to be given.
But the fact stares blankly at all of us in the final hour
it is in vain.
Death finally takes its almighty toll.

What is therefore the reward ?
What is therefore your reward, my reward, our reward.
I cried, and cried I can find no reward,
in life

And then oneday, I held a boy in my arm.
Life offers me the opportunity to love .
I held him tight and give all the love I could give.
The feeling was great, very great as I give.
I felt the abundance, the completeness of who I am,
the eternity of existence in the intense feeling of giving.

I realise I couldnt receive, with love, I have to give only,
and give and give. I have to give all I have.
and finally to give all in death too.

Friends, Love is the only reward, and it is giving.
For those who seek to be rewarded,to gain,
in vain they have searched.
But for those who seek to give, and give and give,
they found the highest reward.
