How to set up the Squad and Text Channel 12 for the 26th Panzer Division.

Once WW 2 Online has loaded you will see the map screen. On the bottom of the screen you will see the Text Chat Box. As a general rule of thumb, setup the Squad channel and text channel 12 before going on to any missions.

To start setting up the proper channels, click on the MESSAGE box. You will then see:

Click in the area that states: Blitz Lobby. This will open:

Notice how your cursor is now flashing in the new box added above Blitz Lobby. Click on the orange icon. This is the 26th Panzer Division's Squad channel. Also note that Blitz Lobby is now high lighted.

You should now see:

Now to add the text channel 12. Click on the 4th open space:

You should have a flashing cursor in the box above Tune Radio. Type in this box the number 12. Then hit Enter.

You should now see:

You are now all set to begin game play with communications all set up. The nice thing about this setup is that Squad and 12 almost never are lost when you take a new mission.

Note the XMIT and RECV columns? Those allow you to turn off or no your ability to transmit (XMIT) or receive (RECV) on those channels. Squad Officers often have the text channel 29 included. This is used by the Armee Korp for communications between the Officers. Most times they have the XMIT set to OFF.

To set a channel off or on, simply click on OFF or ON under the desired XMIT or RECV. If it is set to ON, clicking it will turn it to OFF, and visa-versa.

If you have any further questions, please contact someone in game.
