ABOUT DANA
Sunshine Coast Retreat House depends on financial support from friends and students that is freely offered in a spirit of gratitude and generosity. Dana (the Sanskrit word meaning "generosity") is traditionally placed in a bowl in the teaching room. There is no direct charge unless there are specific expenses (such as clay for a workshop, food for a retreat, travel expenses for a visiting teacher). Please keep in mind that dana is Bonni's only source of livelihood, and the means by which expenses of the Retreat House (heat, light, taxes, repairs and so on) are met and give as generously as you can.
