1) AFTER WORK PICK-UP AT BANNEKER STARTS NOW

The upper field at Banneker will once again be the after work pick-up location of choice on Wednesday nights, starting this Wednesday (5/1/2002). This is a great venue to get back into the swing of things and to introduce new players to the sport. During the month of May, it is also a great place to register for Summer League. Start time is 6:30.

2 & 3) AFTER WORK PICK-UP IN ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY

Two days of pick-up are available in AA county. Go to Annapolis for a good time every Tuesday and head to Severna Park Park (a.k.a. Cypress Creek Park) on Thursdays for a fun, laid back game. Check the website (http://www.md-ultimate.org) for directions to these venues.

4) SUMMER LEAGUE REGISTRATION IS UNDERWAY

The registration form will be posted on the website within the next few days and the summer bulletin will be in your mailboxes shortly. Meanwhile, you can register in person on any Monday or Wednesday at Banneker (weather permitting). Registration hours are from 8 pm to 9pm on Mondays and 6:30 pm to 9 pm on Wednesdays.

5) BANNEKER DROP-IN LEAGUES CONTINUE UNTIL THE END OF MAY

All are welcome to drop-in and start getting in shape for Summer League on any Monday in May. Games start at 8 pm (or when the nice lacrosse boys are finished - sometimes 8:15) and end at 11 pm.

There is also a more vigorous outlet for the club-level player on Wednesday nights. Come on out if you dare! This also starts at 8 pm and should not be confused with the after work pick-up that is starting at Banneker this week. They are two distinct outlets.
