1) FALL HAT TOURNAMENT SCHEDULED FOR THIS SATURDAY

This year's Fall Hat Tournament is scheduled for Saturday November 17th!
This email will be your only notification. No snail mail notice will be sent.
If you know of any player still living in the dark ages (or just not on our
distribution list) feel free to invite them.

Here are some brief tournament details for the uninitiated:

What's a Hat Tournament?
  Teams are formed by the random drawing of names from a hat. Then a friendly
little one day round-robin tournament ensues.

Who's Invited?
  Anyone and Everyone

What Day?
  Saturday, Nov. 17th; Rain Date: Next Year Same Weekend.

What Time?
  11 AM to dark (teams formed when a quorum is achieved).

What's Provided?
  Hot Chocolate, Sodas, other BEvERages.

What to Bring?
   For the Needy: A donation of two (or more) canned goods is requested. 
Additionally, donations of clothing, toys, baby furnishings and any
household items will be gratefully accepted. All donations will go to the
Banneker Community Assistance Office.

For the Players: A small something to share with the class. Just like the
Pilgrims and the Indians did years ago, bring something to add to the feast -
chips & salsa, cookies, chili, veggies, etc. 
Also, don't forget a light and a dark T-shirt.

 Banneker. (meet on lower fields) 
How? 
From North: 
 I-95 South to Baltimore Beltway(695) south/west towards Glen Burnie. Take
 exit 15 onto Route 40 west towards Ellicott City.

From South: 
 I-95 north to Baltimore Beltway (695) north/west towards Towson. Take exit
 15 onto Route 40 west towards Ellicott City.

All together now: 
 Turn left at the first traffic light onto Winters Lane.
 For the upper fields: take the first left turn onto Old Frederick Road.
 Parking lot is on the right at the end of the road.
 For the lower fields: Turn left onto Shipley Avenue and turn right at stop
 sign. Parking lot is on your immediate left next to the community center.

2) NIGHT TIME PICK-UP CONTINUES THROUGH THE END OF NOVEMBER

Fun under the lights on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 PM to 11 PM at
Banneker.

3) INDOOR ULTIMATE BEGINS IN DECEMBER

Here's a brief intro. Additional details will be sent out in December.

Co-Ed Indoor Ultimate at Lansdowne Sr. High on Tuesday and Thursday nights
from 8 PM to 10 PM; December through the end of March; fee will be $5 for the
season. December will be pick-up only. League play will take place during
January, February, and early March. The league format will be announced in
December.
