Subject: Indoor Ultimate Starts Tonight

Introduction:

Now that Winter is at hand it is time to move inside.  This will be the 
fourth year we've offered an indoor ultimate outlet.  Its popularity has 
gotten to the point that I believe it is time to move it from a pick-up 
format to a league format.  While the month of December will be pick-up, the 
goal will be to form teams and have a league in January and February.  I 
have a few team construction ideas (e.g. captains draft, balanced hat draft, 
BYOT, etc.) that I am considering. I will be taking suggestions during the 
first two weeks of pick-up before making the final decision.

Executive Summary:  Co-Ed Indoor Ultimate at Lansdowne Sr. High on Tuesday 
and Thursday nights from 8 to 10; now through the end of March; fee will be 
$5 for the season.

Details:

What:  Indoor Ultimate - Run-and-Gun Ultimate played in a big box.

           December - Pick-up and Registration.
           January & February - League Play
           March - Player's choice: (a)Continue League Play or (b)Playoffs 
or (c)return to Pick-up

Who:

Anyone who wants to try it.  While I do feel that new players are best 
introduced to the sport in a more forgiving environment (i.e. soft grass and 
no walls), I won't turn anyone away.  However, I do reserve the right to 
bench anyone I feel is unable to play safely in the confines of a gym.

When:

Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8PM to 10PM.  We will probably have to stop 
promptly at 10 at this gym, so to maximize our play time I highly recommend 
that we be there, ready to play, at 8.

When Not:

After school activities are cancelled when classes are cancelled, i.e. no 
Ultimate on snow days.

Where:

Lansdowne Senior High School.  Situated in Southern Baltimore County, 
Lansdowne is located east of Interstate 95 and just inside the Beltway.  To 
get to the school take the Beltway to exit 9 North - Hollins Ferry Road.  
The main entrance to the school is on the left about 1.5 miles up this road. 
  Turn in at the main entrance, but don't enter the building there.  The gym 
has a separate entrance on the right hand side of the main building.

(Please note that the Board of Education of Baltimore County does not allow 
smoking on school property - inside or out.)

How Much:

$5 for the season.
