The picture above was taken during the days when I was better looking. Click here to see how I look like today. Here's a bonus: click here to see my body! You've guessed it right, the face is a fake, the body is real.
I'm a Software Engineer. I used to say, "Hi, I'm an engineer", then people would ask me, "So, what type of engineer are you?". My reply was, "Well, I am a.... good engineer". This reminds me of a joke:
Q: How many software engineers does it take to change a light
bulb?
A: None, it is a hardware problem.
As you might have guessed, I'm really a funny guy.
I work in Google, the world's best search engine. Just before joining Google, I attended graduate school at the University of California at Santa Barbara. It's a rough place, but hey, somebody has to live there. Prior to that, I was a Senior Engineer in Kent Ridge Digital Labs, Singapore's top computing research institute.
I'm a practicing Buddhist. I used to volunteer as a counsellor. I also have keen interests in philosophy, psychology and history. I maintain a personal website on Buddhism, "What do you think, my friend?". May I invite you to come and visit.
Anyway, thanks for coming to visit. Perhaps we can have coffee together some day.
See Meng's Gallery.
Read the very interesting story my name is based on.
Now that you've seen my face and body, peer into my mind.
Meng Locator. Highly advanced artificial intelligence program that can locate Meng at any time.
Read some of my writings.
Read my travel journal.
See some of my childish drawings.
Read my resume. (I thought I would put my resume here in case somebody wants to give me a billion bucks or invite me to be the absolute dictator of some small nation or something...)
And, oh, my brother has a cool website about finance (which engineers like myself don't know a lot about because we don't have money). See Oaktree Research.
The Dhammapada - A well-loved piece of Buddhist scripture.
The KRDL Transportation Lab Website - A site on the group I used to work with.
