Cases from around the state provide examples of water and air pollution threatening our natural resources---and our public health---for months and years without clean up. From lack of funding and inadequate staff, to a failure of political support for strong environmental enforcement, CCNC will be working closely with the CCNC Foundation to support legislation which will help North Carolina uphold and enforce our existing environmental laws and regulations.

CCNC Foundation released a report highlighting the state of North Carolina's environmental enforcement, the problems lack of enforcement can lead to, the ongoing causes of these problems, and the long-term solutions necessary to address these shortcomings in order to protect our public health.
