Environmental groups like CCNC are regularly out spent many times over by the lobbying interests we are fighting. What we do wield is the grassroots power of citizens and members like you who are willing to take a stand, send in a letter, make a phone call, and mobilize on behalf of the environment.

CCNC regularly sends out email action alerts to our members when we think their voice will really make a difference on critical environmental decisions being made. Scroll down to see our 2001 Alerts! (Please note, these alerts are no longer active.)

CCNC sends out alerts to our own members on key issues that we are working on specifically. These alerts provide contact information for key decision-makers, background information, and talking points. Combined with our direct advocacy efforts, they have proven effective in persuading our NC policy-makers that the public does indeed care about the environment.
