List Enhancement Project

CCNC Foundation provides services to the environmental community to make them much more effective. The List Enhancement project allows environmental and allied groups to improve their organizational capacity, strengthen their ability to educate and motivate the public, and make their member communications much more effective and cost efficient.

Training Workshops

CCNC Foundation sponsors trainings and speakers to teach North Carolina citizens how they can participate in the policy-making process, and how to advocate effectively.

Lobbying 101 is a basic "how to" program on how you, as an individual, can play an effective role in making sure that sound environmental policies are being considered and passed. Take a field trip to the General Assembly. Topics include:

  • How a bill becomes a law & how legislative committees function
  • Who impacts the legislative process?
  • How to determine which legislators represent you and how to contact them
  • Strategies for communicating effectively with your elected officials (preparing your position, making your point, and when & how to meet with your legislators)
