Why is my website invisible?

You can have the most dazzling web site around, and still not have it appear in the top ten in search engines.

Some of the reasons include a lack of:

• Comprehensive information. Are your keywords sprinkled throughout the text in an informative manner? If you have only images, the search engines lack words to index.
• Metatags. Some search engines use what are called "metatags" to help them index documents. Virtual Promote has an excellent overview of them.
• Title information. Search engines index titles.
