Part 2 of 4 hikes covering the entire Bay Circuit route thru Andover:
Sunday   July 26th   This is the second in a series of 4 hikes this summer that will, in total, cover the entire 18-mile Andover section of the Bay Circuit Trail. This leg will consist of approximately 4.5 miles and is a self-standing adventure (participation in the other parts of the series is not necessary). The hike will be led by experienced hikers. This second hike is from 1 to 4 pm, rain or shine. For this 2nd section, hikers are asked to meet at 1p at the Horn Bridge (corner of Red Spring Road and Reservation Road). We will shuttle people to the beginning of the hike at the Ward Reservation. Ipswich Bridges Dedication was held on November 8 2008.
Three new bridges for walkers and horses on the Bay Circuit Trail were
dedicated on Saturday   November 8 at 1 p.m. at the Marini Farm pond
parking lot on Linebrook Rd. The Ipswich Bay Circuit Trail Committee
invites the public to celebrate the completion of this multi-year
project. The bridges   built with local grants and volunteer labor, are named in honor of Richard and Barbara Ostberg, Bob Weatherall,
and Ralph Williams.

2009 TMAC Regional and Committee Meetings
The Trail Maintenance Advisory Committee (TMAC) will be holding meetings in a number of towns along the trail next year.   All town maintainers and anyone interested in trail stewardship are invited to attend any of the meetings.  
The meetings are being held to foster better communications between the towns and TMAC. They will give you the opportunity to meet the TMAC committee members and other town maintainers and� find out about TMAC's activities and goals and to discuss trail maintenance accomplishments issues and concerns.
