I bought the car in August '94 with a very poor body-work. It appeared to be suffering from all the "little illnesses" a Karmann likes to have. However, after an intensive examination it transpired that the condition was much better than originally thought.
Six weeks later, the body-work was completely redone and she was ready to go on the road.
Far from being just a pretty face, this car really has been driven all of her life. I am particularly impressed with the engine because it consumes only 7-9 litres of petrol per 100 km. Not bad going even at todays standards.
