The Princess
Laura Seevers

Call me when the clock strikes twelve.
I'm sick of the Princess.
I want Cinderella back.
Cindy was always sweet and nice,
Willing to help in any way.
This Princess isn't real!
She's greedy and fake,
Out for a good time.
All she wants is fame and a man.
Bring Cindy back to me.
She always listened. . .
Friendly and kind, even to the mice.
Now the mice must be horses.
The dog is her servant.
But maybe she'll be back.
Midnight always comes.
Besides. . .
She must get tired of walking on glass.
