 Lafayette High School is
a comprehensive high school with
the National Academy Foundation programs Academy of Finance and Academy of
Hospitality and Tourism components. Academy students are recruited city-wide while non-academy students come from the school's enrollment district. Lafayette High School is located on the West Side of Buffalo, New York.

HIGH SCHOOL IS A DISPLAY LOCATION OF A GUITAR
FOR HOPE
Lafayette High
School is proud to be a display location of a Guitar for Hope,
part of the 2006 WNED Guitar Fesitval. Designed by LHS Class of
2006 member Jayro
Mazariegos our Guitar for Hope, titled "The Day Our Music
Died," reflects our traditions and pride and brings attention
to the lack of a music program at Lafayette. The students, staff
and friends of Lafayette purchased the guitar and it is proudly
displayed in the front hall of the school.
Lafayette High School is pleased to
be part of the Faces of Buffalo project in which a mosaic of the
LHS building has been created from self portraits of students,
staff and alumni. Wall prints, note cards and post cards of the
mosaic are available either from the school or facesofbuffalo@hotmail.com
