Who am I ?
I am a French citizen, 49 who worked in Indonesia from 1995 till 1998. For
a European it is like a cultural shock. But month after month, you start to understand the
values and the beliefs of the People of Indonesia. I lived in Jakarta, a large and busy
capital. The jobs were easier to find there, and a continuous flow of farmers or small
towns inhabitants increases every year by hundreds of thousands a population already close
to 10 millions.
Since July 97 Indonesia and its people are impacted by a deep economical crisis. Now jobs
are difficult to find and foods become expensive for Indonesians.
In addition to travel again and again in
this wonderful country (see the picture here above, I was sailing on a tropical river near
Pengandanrang towards the Green Canyon, South Coast of Java , South East of Bandung..
When it's raining heavily, which is common during the rainy season, fron October to April, I surf on the net, Hopefully I will soon find your site.
